HEADSEND have bottled the raw energy that’s made them one of Australia’s most talked-about live bands on their debut EP, ‘Angel Glands.’ The Byron Bay trio delivers four uncompromising tracks that showcase the intensity and chemistry they’ve built through relentless touring.

Featuring “Stove,” “Chugg,” “And Angel” and “Do Do,” the EP captures the band’s signature blend of power, grit and immediacy. Rather than smoothing out the edges in the studio, HEADSEND leaned into the spontaneity of their performances, creating a release that feels every bit as explosive as their concerts.

To preserve that authenticity, ‘Angel Glands’ was recorded live in the studio with acclaimed producer Nick DiDia, whose resume includes Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine and Stone Temple Pilots. The approach allows every performance to breathe, translating the band’s dynamic stage presence into a recording that feels immediate and unfiltered.

That live-first philosophy has helped HEADSEND quickly build a loyal following. After playing more than 40 shows across Australia over the past year, the trio has shared stages with Wunderhorse, Tool and AC/DC, earning praise for performances that leave a lasting impression on audiences.

The momentum continues as HEADSEND prepares to expand beyond Australia with appearances in the UK, including a performance at The Great Escape, while additional UK and European dates are on the horizon.

‘Angel Glands’ is an impressive introduction to a band that thrives on volume, energy and connection. For HEADSEND, the studio isn’t a place to reinvent their sound. It’s another stage.
