Adam Doueihi reportedly feels he can “no longer play” for Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall, and that there is “no coming back”.
Code Sports has revealed the relationship between the club and their star player is “unfixable” after he withdrew from their 56-10 loss to the Raiders on Saturday.
Doueihi, 27, had secured a downgrade from the NRL judiciary to enable him to play in the game, but was reportedly unaware he had already been named as a reserve.

It is said Doueihi felt “disrespected” and that “he hadn’t been told” by Marshall.
Now it is understood his time at Wests Tigers “appears over,” despite the club preparing to hold peace talks with Doueihi on Monday.
It is said a “dramatic twist” would have to take place for the situation to be resolved.
Doueihi is not thought to have a dislike for Marshall, however he also does not want to remain with the Tigers.
Speaking about Doueihi after the Raiders defeat, Marshall said: “We have to find a resolution. That situation was a tough one to deal with this week, unexpected to be honest.
“But at the same time, as a coach, I guess from my point of view is that I always try and make decisions on what I think’s best for the team to try and win.
“For Adam, I can understand his disappointment around me asking him to play a different role and then he just wasn’t in a good headspace to play this week.
“You’ve got to respect that which we did and then we try to move on, but it’s tough.”
He went on to add: “Yeah (it’s salvageable). I can understand it, to be honest. I’ll always try and make the best decision for the club and the team to try and win.
“That’s my job, but at the same time Adam’s human too so he’s going to feel how he feels.
“We’ll obviously try and get to a resolution next week (at) some stage and put the noise to bed.”
Doueihi signed a contract extension back in March to remain at the Tigers until the end of the 2029 season.
On Tuesday, Marshall will name his team for Sunday’s game against Parramatta.
The success of Monday’s talks are expected to determine whether or not Doueihi will be involved at the weekend.
He has spent the last six years with the Tigers and is just three short of the 100-game milestone for the club.
