The incredible Vaucluse home of former Sydney Football Club chairman Scott Barlow and his ex-wife Alina is set to hit the market.

The pair had bought the tri-level five-bedroom residence at 13 Queens Ave, described as a “masterpiece” at the time, for $39m in 2023 but split the following year.

It was on the market with hopes of $50m last March. but has now been listed by Ray White Double Bay’s Elliott Placks and Ashley Bierman and it’s expected to have a guide in the mid-$40m range.

They’d bought the Vaucluse for $39m in 2023 and commissioned Brian Meyerson of MHNDU for $2m worth of improvements.

Alina is the daughter of Russian billionaire David Traktovenko who used to own Sydney FC and has her own jewellery brand, Alinka.

The former couple had previously owned several other extraordinary homes, including the Pont Piper waterfront Akuna, with its unique Chinese-style pagoda boathouse, bought for $45m in 2022 and sold unrenovated the following year for circa $60m.

It’s been described as a “masterpiece” in previous marketing.

It comes with four luxurious bathrooms.

They’d previously owned a Tzannes Associates designed residence on Wolseley Road, Point Piper, sold for $40m in 2021.

The Vaucluse property, which has four bathrooms and a four-car garage, comes with DA-approved plans by Brian Meyerson of MHNDU for $2m worth of improvements and extensions from the living, dining and master suite.

The home is on an 885sqm block with iconic views. Features include massage room, bar kitchen and swimming pool.
