As usual, Josh Bibby was a force for the Hawks, kicking six goals, while Josh Lee added five.

Jason Ainsworth was the Lions’ top player, while Dan Ladgrove, Angus Parnell, Zac Armer and Ethan Blake fought to keep their side in the contest in the first half.
In other results, Glenthompson-Dunkeld earned a leg up in the race for fifth place by defeating Penshurst 13.12 (90) to 7.11 (53).
Hawkesdale-Macarthur downed SMW Rovers 14.19 (103) to 4.8 (32) and Lismore-Derrinallum overpowered Wickliffe-Lake Bolac 18.22 (130) to 2.2 (14).
In addition to the Hawks and Eagles’ clash at Tatyoon Recreation Reserve on Saturday, round 14 will feature matches between Great Western and SMW Rovers at Great Western, Moyston-Willaura and Wickliffe-Lake Bolac at Willaura, Woorndoo-Mortlake and Glenthompson-Dunkeld at Woorndoo, Penshurst and Caramut at Penshurst and Hawkesdale-Macarthur and Lismore-Derrinallum at Hawkesdale.
