Ahead of next month’s release of Madden NFL 27, EA Sports unveiled the top 10 quarterback, running back and wide receiver player ratings on Wednesday.

Los Angeles Rams star Matthew Stafford and Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen, who are in the famed 99 Club, lead the way among the top signal-callers in the latest installment of the famed video game series. The full top 10 list of quarterbacks is as follows:

99 Club members Ja’Marr Chase of the Cincinnati Bengals and Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seattle Seahawks lead the way for the top 10 wide receivers.

Detroit Lions star Jahmyr Gibbs barely missed the 99 Club, but he sits atop the running back rankings.

The top 10 teams in Madden NFL 27 based on offensive rating are as follows:

Madden NFL 27 is set to launch worldwide on Aug. 13, with the MVP+ membership providing early access up to seven days in advance. In addition to Stafford, Allen, Chase and Smith-Njigba, the 99 Club also includes Rams defensive end Myles Garrett and Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride.

One player who isn’t satisfied with his rating is Chicago Bears star quarterback Caleb Williams, who is the cover star of Madden NFL 27. He recently declared that his goal is to earn a spot in the 99 Club before the end of the year.

“If I get my completion percentage up, I’ll be a 99,” Williams said during an appearance on Up & Adams on Monday (10:52 mark). “That’s how everybody feels about it. I don’t throw picks, I’m not a pick guy, never been a pick guy. Throw a few more touchdowns, keep the picks down and then just get the completion up.”

The 2026 campaign will surely provide opportunities for players to improve their Madden ratings, but for now, the top 10 players at each position are solidified in their spots as the start of the season approaches.
