Marc Marquez is currently on one of the best runs of form in his MotoGP career so far on a dominant Ducati bike.
The 32-year-old is set to break the record for the oldest champion in premier class history, beating the previous mark set by ex-rival Valentino Rossi.
With nine MotoGP races to go this season, it’s almost guaranteed that Marquez is going to claim his seventh title well in advance of the final race.
The combination of the Spaniard and his Ducati bike looks unstoppable, having won the sprint and Grand Prix at each of the last six events.
Marquez is ‘impossible’ to dislike despite ongoing boos from different fanbases around the world. They’re struggling to come to terms with his level of performance.
Even Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo was in awe of Marquez after watching him in qualifying at the Austrian Grand Prix. He could see how special his craft is.

Marquez received a shocking wage from Gresini after leaving Honda. He received no payment to ride their bike.
It shows how eager he was to prove to everyone that he could still compete at the highest level and win another title after his devastating accident in 2020.
However, Marquez knows it’s ‘career over’ if he reinjures himself in another highside. He can’t push beyond the limit of his GP25.
His team have shown their appreciation for what he has delivered to them this season, and Ducati boss Luigi Dall’Igna shared a funny joke with him behind the scenes in Austria.
“You beat me here three times, but now I’m the one in red,” said Marquez. “Hold on, you’re the one who beat us for years,” Dall’Igna responded.

Who is the only MotoGP rider Marc Marquez might be ‘afraid’ of in 2025?
The most impressive rider other than the two Marquez brothers has been Marco Bezzecchi this year. Johann Zarco deserves a nod too, but Bezzecchi has faced an equally tough task.
In his first season at a factory team, his reigning champion teammate has been absent for the majority of the year.
He was forced to pick up the reins and lead the development of their bike in a positive direction. After a dismal start to the campaign, they are now contenders, thanks largely to his work.
Marquez is ‘only afraid’ of Bezzecchi, according to Carlo Pernat, who knows both of them well from his time as an agent in the MotoGP paddock.
At some stage in the final nine races, Marquez should have to battle his Italian rival, and it’s likely that it could be for victory. He will have to assess whether it is worth the risk when the moment arrives.
