Heil Trailer has officially commenced trading in Australia following the recent announcement of its return to the country.

The appointment of Express Engineering Australia as the nationwide Heil dealer formalises the reintroduction of the iconic global liquid tanker brand.

Trailers for the Australian market will now be manufactured to the toughest Australian standards at Heil’s Thailand manufacturing plant, according to Express Engineering Australia.

Express Engineering Australia Managing Director, Troy Behsman, said the company is now ready to move into its next phase as a fully-fledged wholesaler and retailer of tankers.

“I’ve been involved in the service and repair of tankers for over three decades, and Heil has always been the best-engineered product I’ve encountered,” he said.

“So it seemed the natural progression for me to go from servicing to selling.”

The sales and service of Heil products in Australia have been operating under a regional model since 2005.

In that time, over 500 Heil trailers have operated locally.

Behsman now sees tremendous growth potential for Heil in Australia.

He credited the evolution of the global supply chain as another reason for supporting the brand locally.

“At the end of the day, our business has been built on providing customers with up-time solutions based on trust, respect and integrity,” he said.

“We see the partnership with Heil as an opportunity to expand our offering to customers using the same values.”
