EREBUS Motorsport has gone back to the well, reviving its Mercedes-AMG-inspired ‘Tron’ livery for rookie Jobe Stewart to race at this weekend’s Perth Super440.
The design has been rehashed to incorporate Western Australian business Spinifex Sheds in a naming rights capacity, supplemented by Vibe Petroleum.
“I’ve always been passionate about motorsport and there’s nothing quite like experiencing Supercars from inside a professional race team,” said Spinifex managing director Simon Busby.
“When the opportunity came up to become primary partner for Car #9, it was something we jumped at.

“Erebus has built a fantastic reputation, Jobe is an exciting young driver, and we’re looking forward to being part of the team this weekend.”
Erebus chief operating officer Carly Hammersley added: “The livery itself is something we hope our fans enjoy.
“Bringing back the Tron-inspired design is a celebration of our history, while looking ahead to an exciting future with partners like Spinifex Sheds.”
Track action starts tomorrow, with Supercars running a pair of 25-minute practice sessions late in the day.
