Academy Award winners Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana have delivered the superstar power in New York’s Chelsea.
The actors have led the charge up the special grey carpet for the world premiere of the latest season of hit series, Lioness.
A who’s who of the cast was also in attendance, among them, Layla De Oliveira, Jill Wagner and Dave Annable.
Another of Taylor Sheridan’s huge global hits, Lioness is a gritty spy thriller that screens on Paramount+.
It follows the story of a CIA case officer managing high stakes operations under its Lioness program, where female officers go undercover to those close to terrorist targets.
Season three is set to premiere on August 2.
“The greatest thing about playing this woman for me was something, I had never played this type of woman before where there is an enormous strength and her and then her allegiance and her protection of her country,” said Kidman, who plays CIA supervisor Kaitlyn Meade.
“That is what she will live and die for … her ultimate commitment is she’s pledged allegiance to the flag and that is it and she is unwavering and it is a fantastic role to play.”
Kidman and Saldana both serve as executive producers on the series.
Saldana plays CIA case officer Joe McNamara, who heads up the Lioness program.
The series Is loosely based on real life operations in Iraq in the early 2000s.
“A woman that convinces herself that she can have it all because she can,” Saldana said of her character.
“That felt familiar to me. There’s a lot of women that work in so many places and they take on so much weight and they carry on so much responsibility and they deliver time and time again. And they give 120 per cent but they are burning the candle from both ends and you pray for them.”
She continued: “That felt very familiar to me, obviously I’m a much more diluted version of Joe, a decimal of who Joe is.”
