If you’ve ever fancied the idea of an intimate weekend away with Hugh Jackman, well, now’s your chance to make that dream a reality – for a hefty price tag, of course.

The Wolverine star’s new leading lady, Sutton Foster, is hosting a lavish retreat at Canyon Ranch in The Berkshires next weekend, promising guests a heady cocktail of daytime wellness treatments followed by a chaser of music with Jackman under the stars.

The cost to be one of the lucky 25 people spending time in this gilded sanctuary with Foster and Jackman? Roughly $3500 per night. For that rate, you get chef-crafted meals, spa merchandise, treatments, and medical assessments.

But the jewel in the crown is a one-of-a-kind concert by Jackman at Tanglewood, a renowned music venue that is home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

Marketed as Leading Women: A Sutton Foster Retreat, the itinerary for this luxe three-night getaway blends traditional fitness and avant-garde spiritualism with a side serving of Hollywood razzle-dazzle.

Guests will participate in dance cardio and strength sessions led by Foster and fitness group The Limit, alongside more introspective activities like crafting and a guided journaling session titled “Write Your Story”. At night, guests can unwind with a moonlight picnic accompanied by a serenade from Jackman himself.

Attendees will also be treated to time with Desi Valentine, a trusted shaman to both Foster and Jackman. Valentine will lead “Soul in the Spotlight” empowerment rituals and somatic reclamation ceremonies – a practice designed to release trauma and stress stored inside muscles, tissues, and the nervous system through movement and breathwork.

This sort of deep dive into energy medicine and spiritual insight represents a distinct departure from the more traditional, family-oriented lifestyle Jackman shared for nearly three decades with his ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.

For those who followed the “Hugh and Deb” era, this wellness retreat marks a clear aesthetic and lifestyle shift for the Boy from Oz. While Furness and Jackman were long seen as a traditional power couple focused on philanthropy and family, the “Hugh and Sutton” era is increasingly defined by shared artistic pursuits and holistic wellness.

Furness and Jackman met on the set of Correlli in 1995. Back then, she was the bigger star and Jackman was a rising talent. The couple married a year later and welcomed two children, Oscar and Ava. Although they appeared to have one of Hollywood’s most enduring unions, they announced their shock separation in 2023.

In a joint statement, the couple described the split as amicable, but Furness later described the break-up as “a profound wound that cuts deep.”

Jackman confirmed his new relationship with Foster in January 2025. The pair became close while starring in the Broadway revival of The Music Man two years prior. Following Foster’s 2024 divorce from Ted Griffin and Jackman’s split from Furness, the couple has been inseparable.

Prior to their fancy wellness escape, and on the back of the Oscar-nominated Aussie’s recent movies The Sheep Detetctives and The Death of Robin Hood, Foster and Jackman enjoyed a “quiet summer” together in North Carolina. Away from the prying eyes of New York City and amid rumours of strained relationships with long-time friends such as Nicole Kidman, Jackman was spotted reading and writing scripts outdoors.

Foster, meanwhile, enjoys crafting and relaxing with her close-knit group of friends. Sources close to the pair say they have built a “strong foundation of trust” and are “giddy and happy” about their future. Jackman has reportedly told friends he believes Foster is “the one”, admiring her enthusiastic spirit and talent.

While wellness warrior may seem like a strange new addition to the Wolverine’s arsenal, it is familiar terrain for Foster. She has clearly been encouraging her beau to expand his horizons, just as she’s doing for the folks paying to rub shoulders with her on the yoga mats at Canyon Ranch.

“I have been going to Canyon Ranch for over 20 years,” Foster told Travel + Leisure magazine editor Nina Ruggiero. “It’s been my go-to place to rest, restart, feel nurtured, centred, realigned, and inspired, as my work requires so much output of energy. I love doing the morning hikes with outdoor sports and getting spa treatments in the evening. I often go solo.”

Foster made the remarks when she hosted a similar retreat at the ranch in March. At that time, Jackman also made a cameo appearance, much to the delight of the 35 women in attendance.

Many of those at the March retreat were going through difficult personal times or trying to rediscover themselves after decades of caretaking.

Ruggiero, who attended the event, reflected that the mood was decidedly joyful, not sombre.

“They were thrilled to connect, share the weight of common challenges, and draw inspiration from the talent and energy that has won Foster multiple Tony Awards and scores of adoring fans,” she said. “There was some fangirling, as is to be expected, but most of the time, the actress was just another woman in the room, being vulnerable and making new friends.”

As you would expect, Canyon Ranch is not your average health farm.

Located in a historic mansion whose architects also designed the New York Public Library, it is a retreat where the rich and famous go for an elite-level reset.

The resort features 100 treatment rooms, 1,500 employees, and a history of hosting legends like Oprah Winfrey and Diana Ross.

The facility itself sits on star-studded ground.

Meryl Streep raised her four children in the region, while Mark Wahlberg, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, and James Taylor all have ties to the area.

Reality TV fans will also recognise The Berkshires as a favourite playground for Real Housewives icons such as Bethenny Frankel, Luann de Lesseps, and Dorinda Medley.
