The top five earners working in AFL media have been revealed once again by a familiar source – Nathan Brown.
The annual big reveal took place on Triple M with Brown giving his estimates for give huge figures within the code.

However there is a twist this year as the media personality has split his list between former players and those with a journalist background, with the latter to follow next week.
Brown is sure he has cracked the figures this year, claiming he is accurate “within half a per cent”.
He has contacted managers, footballer managers and media personnel within the AFL to collate the list, but one name mentioned has already hit back.
5. David King and Jason Dunstall – $650,000
Fox Footy stars David King and Jason Dunstall make the list but their inclusion has already sparked backlash.
Brown estimates King rakes in $350,000 and $300,000 from his work with Fox and SEN respectively.
He suggests Dunstall is on $500,000 at Fox – the biggest at the company – and $150,000 at Triple M, but the commentator disputes the claim.
“Are you kidding? This is bald-faced lying,” he hit back.
“I’m happy to come clean. I get two hundred for Fox and I get forty from Triple M.”
4. Garry Lyon – $800,000
“Alpha male”, in Brown’s words, Garry Lyon fronts Fox Footy’s AFL 360 show and is understood to rake in $450,000 for his work with the broadcaster.
An additional $300,000 from SEN for his role on the breakfasts show nets him $750,000 per annum, with a Herald Sun columnist gig making up the rest.
3. Daniel Gorringe – $900,000
The only independent member of the list, Daniel Gorringe has made waves with his online content.
His Dan Does Footy social media empire is hugely popular, and in return he nets huge sums, with $1.8 million in revenue according to Brown.
After expenses his take home is $900,000 – a tidy sum to talk about footy.
“This guy is running his own race, he’s doing a damn good job,’’ Brown said.
“He is a genuine creator.”
2. Kane Cornes – $1.15m
The king of 2025 has been usurped this year according to Brown’s insights.
That being said, he still earns a pretty penny and puts in a lot of work to do so with four big jobs.
Channel 7 lured him from Nine last year with a reported salary of $600,000 per annum.
Along with that, he is said to be paid $350,000 by SEN while he also has an earner with Sportsbet.
1. James Brayshaw – $1.5m
This winner of this year’s highest earner list is believed to be James Brayshaw.
The former cricketer skews the list a little thanks to his work as a commentator on not just the AFL, but cricket too.
Along with The Rush Hour, that work pockets Brayshaw $1.5m, with $900,000 from Triple M and $700,000 from Channel 7.
However there could be a twist for Brayshaw, with the merger of the two companies potentially leading to a reduction in his salary.
