A British courtroom drama that features plenty of familiar faces is getting a new UK streaming home in just a few days.

ITV series The Jury first aired in 2002 and returned for a second series in 2011, making history as the first to ever be allowed to film in the Old Bailey.

The two series are unconnected apart from the setting, and the fact they both place a heavy focus on the members of the jury, as opposed to the defendant and prosecution.

The show will be coming to Netflix on Tuesday, 22 July, but if you don’t want to wait, there’s another option.

Both seasons are available to stream on ITVX now, with the base tier being free with ads, and the Premium tier costing £5.99 a month/£59.99 a year without ads.

A lot of the reviews from fans on IMDB are from way before Gerard Butler had his proper breakout moment in 2007’s 300 (although he had appeared in a few projects by that point).

Even though he wasn’t a major name by that point, plenty of those old reviews praised Butler’s performance as recovering alcoholic Johnnie, with fans calling him “exceptionally convincing”, “captivating”, and “a standout – so intense at times you quit breathing”.

The Jury is available now on ITVX and will be added to Netflix on Tuesday, 22 July.
