THERE is a pivotal face missing from the Blanchard Racing Team garage this weekend.
V8 Sleuth can reveal experienced crew chief Dennis Huijser parted ways with the Ford squad following last month’s Townsville 500.
Huijser had been part of BRT’s mid-2025 rebuild, joining ahead of the Tasmania Super440 in May last year after the team’s Taupō woes.

Prior to working with BRT, he had spent stints with the likes of Erebus Motorsport, Grove Racing and Team 18.
Despite suffering a winter downturn, BRT is in the midst of its best ever season in the Repco Supercars Championship with three podiums and a pole position to its credit.
It will have the chance to accrue a big Sunday points haul in Perth, with James Golding and Aaron Cameron starting today’s 80-lap race from seventh and ninth respectively.
