The #26 Grove Racing Mustang was alleged to have breached the 16psi minimum tyre pressure regulation, which can result in disqualification.
Grove Racing CEO Brenton Grove and head of performance Al McVean were summoned to the stewards in the wake of the 200km contest.
While stewards are yet to reveal details of the case, the lengthy hearing is believed to have centred on the accuracy of the reading.
Grove Racing has confirmed to Speedcafe that the case was dismissed, with no further action to be taken.
It was a somewhat ironic end to a day in which the sister Grove Mustang of Matt Payne scored victory despite a damaged tyre.
Allen put in a storming drive from 23rd on the grid after suffering a power steering failure during the morning’s qualifying session.
The 21-year-old’s rise up the field included a spirited early battle with Will Brown that sent Allen off track through the high-speed Turn 2/3 section.
Grove Racing kept Allen out for a long first stint that enabled the 21-year-old to make the most of his speed.
“It’s very disappointing because the car was ridiculously fast,” Allen surmised.
“We worked with my mate Riccardo (Corte) to piece a really good car together, it was so unfortunate for the team – it’s no one’s fault, the power steering let us down in qualifying.
“I knew we had a fast car, especially what we worked on overnight, and we just put it all together.
“I was very patient in the first stint, Will Brown was doing Will Brown things, so I thought ‘you do what you need to do’ and we trucked on really strongly in the middle and end stints.
“I’m knackered. They were legit qualifying laps, the times were so close to qualifying.”
Allen continues to sit fifth in the Supercars Championship standings, which are being led by teammate Payne.
