New Orleans photographer offers free family portraits to his community
Rob Fox Rich, a New Orleans native and fine arts student, provided free family portraits at Haus of Fox and Rob, inspired by his lifelong passion for photography.
NEW ORLEANS —
Dozens of families gathered at Haus of Fox and Rob in New Orleans today to pose for free portraits taken by Rob Fox Rich, a photographer who began his journey in the city’s streets.
Rich, whose fascination with photography started at just 6 years old, spent the afternoon capturing moments for any family who walked in.
“I wouldn’t have gotten there without this community, any way in which I can come back now and reinvest in that … I’ll be doing free family portraits every time that I will be back home,” Rich said.
Rich is now studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which U.S. News ranks as the second-best fine arts program in the country.
