After entering NBA free agency just over a month ago, guard Jalen Pickett has found his next team.
Pickett and the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a two-way deal, according to Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype. The contract will allow Pickett to split time between the Clippers and their G League affiliate, the San Diego Clippers.

Pickett spent the past three seasons with the Denver Nuggets, who declined his team option earlier this summer, making him an unrestricted free agent. Pickett played in 50 games during the 2025-26 season, averaging 5.2 points per game.
This past season included a career-high night for Pickett, who scored 29 points during a win over the Philadelphia 76ers in January. Pickett started 18 games last season as he was a key depth piece when the Nuggets were facing injuries in their usual starting lineup.
Pickett was selected with the 32nd overall pick in the second round of the 2023 NBA draft by the Indiana Pacers, who traded his draft rights to Denver. Pickett played in 126 games with the Nuggets, averaging 4.0 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
Prior to his NBA career, Pickett became a second-team All-American with Penn State in 2022-23, leading the Nittany Lions to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 17.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game during his memorable campaign.
Now, as Pickett starts the next step in his NBA journey, he’ll get to be teammates with former Penn State player Yanic Konan Niederhauser on the Clippers.
