PUBLIC camping sales for the 2027 Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour are to go on sale next Wednesday, 12 August, with campers set to enjoy an expanded offering of on-track action.
The event will take place from February 11-14 and will feature a Thursday test day, offering campers an additional day of on-track action.
Access to the Thursday private testing sessions will be exclusively limited to campground ticketholders and appropriately accredited personnel, adding extra value to those choosing to stay on site in 2027.
Camping remains one of the most sought-after experiences at the event, with limited availability expected across key precincts following the exclusive renewal window provided to 2026 campsite holders earlier this month.
In May, public camping for the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 sold out in a record 90 minutes.
“The Meguiar’s Bathurst 12 Hour continues to grow in popularity, and we’re looking forward to welcoming drivers, teams, and fans back to Mount Panorama in 2027,” said Shane Rudzis, Bathurst 12 Hour Event Director.
“Camping is an iconic part of the Bathurst 12 Hour experience and demand for trackside accommodation remains exceptionally strong. In 2027, Campers will have exclusive access to the Thursday action as a way of adding even more value to their experience staying trackside.
“With limited camping availability across the circuit, we encourage fans to act quickly when public sales open.

Bathurst mayor Robert Taylor said the event continued to deliver significant benefits for the region while showcasing one of Australia’s most recognisable sporting venues.
