Perez Hilton’s first words from his hospital bed after his horrifying self-harm attempt on a livestream have been revealed.

The Daily Mail reports that the gossip blogger told his mother, stationed by his bedside: “I need help.”

An insider told the outlet that Hilton is “really suffering”: “He’s a man in a lot of pain. I think right now he’s focused on the physical, but it’s all tied together. No one deserves the torment he’s going through,” the insider said.

Meanwhile, it’s been revealed Hilton’s family fled the blogger’s Miami home just moments before he began harming himself in a livestream this week.

“Just minutes before the public livestream incident, Perez’s children, niece, and sister were inside the home,” the family shared in a new statement today.

The family said that “when it became clear that Perez was experiencing a severe mental health crisis and harming himself,” they “immediately fled to protect” the blogger’s three children — Mario, 13, Mia, 11, and Mayte, 8 — “from witnessing any further trauma.”

“Our highest priority right now is helping the children begin to heal from what they experienced,” the statement continued. “An important part of that process is allowing them to safely return home and begin rebuilding a sense of security and normalcy.”

The family also said “the events of the past several days have been nearly unbearable” for them, while thanking fans for their “overwhelming outpouring of love, support, and prayers.”

At the end of the statement, Hilton’s family promised to continue to provide updates on the media personality’s condition via his website.

“Again, thank you for your compassion, understanding, and continued prayers,” the statement concluded.

Hilton had opened up about feeling “overwhelmed” and “in a bit of a spiral” in the weeks leading up to his alarming livestream.

The gossip blogger shared a YouTube video on June 28 about falling “off the wagon in every sense” while navigating his family’s move from Nevada to Florida, reports Page Six.

“I’m back. I went to the gym this morning for the first time in weeks,” Hilton told his subscribers at the time.

“I also went to church today for the first time in weeks,” he added. “I also read my bible today for the first time in weeks”.

“I was in a bit of a spiral because I was overwhelmed with our move to Miami, and I didn’t do these things that I know are good for me,” the entertainment columnist continued.

While Hilton had been feeling “anxious,” he became “soothed” and “inspired” after his day of “work”.

Hilton, notably, became vocal about his faith earlier this year on the heels of a life-threatening sepsis battle and emergency surgery.

The 48-year-old was hospitalised again on Tuesday after self-harming in a TikTok livestream.

Police responded to reports of a “suicide attempt,” according to emergency dispatch audio obtained by Page Six on Wednesday.

Authorities arrived at the scene around 7pm and remained at Hilton’s Miami residence for four hours before he was “safely recovered and transported … to a local hospital”.

In a hopeful update on Hilton’s health issued pn Wednesday, his family said he is “able to communicate”.

The statement noted, “We’re taking things one step at a time and keeping our focus where it belongs, on Perez and his recovery”.

It’s been reported that Hilton, who is a three-time dad, has been experiencing a “really hard” few months as the “breadwinner” of his family while “pretty extreme” medical bills have “hit him hard”.

A source shared with us, “Suddenly being faced with these mounting financial pressures was a lot for him. He just wants to provide a good life for everybody”.
