Although several EuroLeague clubs, as well as teams from other markets, inquired about Bolomboy’s availability, sources indicate that his agreement with ASVEL remains in place despite the club’s reduced budget and numerous departures.

Bolomboy arrives after spending the past three seasons with Crvena Zvezda Belgrade.
Injuries limited the veteran big man to just a handful of appearances during the 2025-26 EuroLeague campaign, where he averaged 5.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and a 7.6 PIR in 14 minutes per game while shooting 59% from 2-point range and 60% from beyond the arc.
His best performance of the season came against Panathinaikos, when he recorded 12 points and five rebounds in 20 minutes.
Before injuries disrupted his campaign, Bolomboy had established himself as one of the EuroLeague’s premier centers.
During the 2024-25 season, he averaged 10.2 points, 8.3 rebounds, and a PIR of 16.6, leading the competition in total rebounds and offensive rebounds (3.4 per game). He also ranked among the 15 most efficient players in the EuroLeague that season.
He recorded a 12-point, 19-rebound double-double against Bayern Munich, grabbing 12 offensive rebounds, the second-highest single-game mark in EuroLeague history.
He also produced an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double against eventual EuroLeague champion Fenerbahce and finished with a double-digit PIR in 15 of his 18 EuroLeague games.
Per BasketNews Advanced Stats, Crvena Zvezda outscored opponents by 6.2 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor, the best net rating differential among all Zvezda players averaging at least 20 minutes per game.
Also, Zvezda allowed 9.1 fewer points per 100 possessions with him on the floor.
