The premier NFL video game from EA Sports, Madden 27, hits shelves this week, but full ratings of every player have already been released. The complete database includes a host of former Kentucky players, and while video game ratings are not exactly a science, they provide a good impression of who ranks ahead of whom in perceived overall talent.

It is no surprise that Josh Hines-Allen reigns supreme as BBNFL top dog. The Jacksonville Jaguars’ franchise career sack leader comes in at an 89 overall rating, making him one of the top 10 edge rushers in the league.

Wan’Dale Robinson joins Hines-Allen as one of only two former ‘Cats to crest the 80 threshold, coming in at an 84 overall. Combo Kentucky and Titans fans expect big things out of Robinson this year.

A trio of defensive backs is the next three highest-rated Wildcats, with Maxwell Hairston, Dru Phillips, and Carrington Valentine all rated in the high 70s. Moreover, Hairston nabbed the top speed rating amongst former ‘Cats, coming in at a 96, four points higher than the second closest, rookie Barion Brown.

He may be an NFL journeyman with a fairly low 67 overall rating, but don’t mess with Quinton Bohanna. Madden rated him the strongest former Kentucky player with a strength rating of 92.
