With 10 News+ now out of weeknights, 10 is in a long term bid to uptick its early evening entertainment.
10’s schedule yesterday tweaked its weeknight schedule with 10 News+ no longer screening with 10 News back to a 90 minute edition.
10 will be hoping this aids Deal or No Deal and Millionaire Hot Seat, in order to benefit its 7:30 entertainment slate.
Last night 10 News averaged 348,000 viewers in National TV Audience, which is up on 306,000 last Monday. But there is a second figure for 10 News 6pm at 226,000 -which is also up on last Monday’s 10 News+ at 175,000. So far, heading in the right direction.
At 7:30pm The Block topped entertainment at 1.28m eclipsing The Voice (918,000), 7:30 (749,000), Australian Story (602,000), and Deal or No Deal: Celebrity Jackpot (304,000)
Later Have You Been Paying Attention? led with 669,000 then Media Watch (570,000), Four Corners (563,000), The Rookie (479,000) and in various cities Footy Classified (210,000) and 100% Footy (191,000).
Seven News was #1 at 1.58m then Home & Away high at 1.02m and The Chase (737,000). The Agenda Setters / Rugby League was 103,000 / 72,000.
Nine News pulled 1.39m then wins by A Current Affair (1.16m) and Tipping Point (873,000). Nine News Late was 129,000 then Players at 56,000.
ABC News was 977,000 then Hard Quiz (424,000) and If You’re Listening (373,000).
Millionaire Hot Seat drew 326,000 then 10 Late News was 275,000 and Deal or No Deal (221,000).
On SBS it was SBS World News (228,000 / 152,000), Scandinavia with Simon Reeve (153,000), Mastermind (115,000), 24 Hours In Emergency (78,000) and Alone Australia (48,000).
