Bangladesh have blown another appeal. That’s two down now. They reckoned Steve Smith had edged one behind, and it was agonisingly close, but there was no noise spike on the replay. Not out.
The touring side has Australia on the back foot, taking three wickets in this opening session and dropping a tough catch in the slips cordon off Smith.

“That is not going to please the Bangladesh team, they are adamant they had their man,” Adam Gilchrist said on Kayo Sports. “Steve Smith looked very nervous through that review, he almost started to half walk off it seemed. Maybe he was just stretching the legs, but nervous times. Australia’s No.4 lives to fight another day.“
The Bangladesh bowlers let themselves down in the next over when Taskin tries to bounce Cameron Green, and he half-pulls, half-hooks it over the square leg boundary rope.
Australia 3-74 off 21.3 overs. Green 13 (10), Smith 7 (25).
