Kylie Lim Packer, the new wife of Australian billionaire James, has shared a series of shots from the couple’s private wedding album to social media.
The couple was married a week ago at a chic cocktail-styled party attended by around 30 guests on Packer’s $280 million gigayacht IJE while the craft was moored off the coast of the Italian island Sardinia.
The newlyweds walked down a makeshift aisle on the boat’s deck – which had been dressed with cream and pale pink roses – to the vibrant Caribbean marimba beats of the Hans Zimmer track ‘You’re So Cool’ from the soundtrack of the 1993 Quentin Tarantino-penned film True Romance.
In the newly released images, the bride can be seen be wearing a strapless lace gown with sheer back panel and train, thigh-length veil and diamond accessories.
In a comment posted with the photos, Lim Packer writes: “After all these years … our heart will always be each other’s home.”
Packer looks every bit the relaxed Hollywood titan in a charcoal suit, bold flat top fifties-style sunglasses and open neck white shirt accessorised with floral boutonniere.
His new wife, a one-time New York socialite, clutches the couple’s poodle x cavalier King Charles dog, Waffle, in one hand along with a bouquet of pink roses.
The fluffy tan pooch was a Christmas gift in December 2018, the couple’s first Christmas together.
In another image loaded to Lim Packer’s Instagram account Waffle can be seen riding a jet ski on the Mediterranean sandwiched between his parents.
James Packer’s third marriage began on calm twilight waters off the north east coast of the picturesque Italian island the renowned jetsetter has been visiting for decades.
He was previously photographed cruising off the Sardinian coast in an earlier boat, his 50-metre Mangusta, Z Ellerston, around 2008, not long after he married second wife Erica, mother of his three teenage children, Indigo, Jackson and Emmanuelle.
Packer’s 110-metre boat appears to have been the venue for both the ceremony and reception.
It is believed to be 46-year-old Lim’s first marriage.
Sardinia is a historic holiday playground to European royals and Hollywood stars alike with Princess Caroline of Monaco, Princess Diana, George Clooney, Leonardo De Caprio, Beyonce and Jay Z and Jeff Bezos visiting the region.
Packer and Lim reportedly met in 2017 in Aspen, Colorado, after being introduced by mutual friends.
Packer owns a $20 million luxury ski chalet in the ski village.
The relationship began after the breakdown of his turbulent relationship with singer Mariah Carey in 2016.
Packer has previously credited Lim with helping him recover from the messy and bitter public break-up, as well as from the blaze of headlines that followed him stepping down from the Crown Resorts board in March 2018 and during and after his admission to a Boston clinic that same year for treatment for depression and bipolar disorder.
The couple broke up in 2020 before reconciling last year.
In his memoir, The Price of Fortune, Packer said: “I’m lucky she’s in my life. Kylie is a good person, a really good partner”.
