Fiji lock Leone Nakarawa has signed for the Fijian Drua ahead of next year’s Super Rugby Pacific campaign.
The 38-year-old brought his four-year stay at Castres to a close at the end of the Top 14 season, which in turn brought down the curtain on a decade in France.
The 68-cap Fiji international joined Racing 92 from Glasgow Warriors in 2016, returning to Scotstoun in early 2020 for a year and a half before hopping across the Channel again to sign for Toulon in 2021. After a season on the Cote d’Azur, he joined Castres in 2022, where he remained until this summer.
The move to the Drua will be the 2016 Olympic Sevens gold medallists’ first taste of Super Rugby in the twilight of his career.
“Looking forward to be playing for the Drua and playing professional and staying Fiji,” the lock said after signing.
