World Team Tennis, which is relaunching in December under new ownership, has revealed the branding of its three teams — and two additional athletes set to participate in its return season.
WTA No. 3 Jessica Pegula, whom the league announced a contract with when it went public with its return from a five-year hiatus in May, will lead the New York Empire Racquet Club; ATP No. 24 Tommy Paul will represent the Florida Flamingos Racquet Club; and ATP No. 48 Denis Shapovalov, who is Canadian, is signed to the Toronto North Racquet Club.
World Team Tennis developed the branding of each team in-house. Its 2026 season will be comprised of six events across Brooklyn’s Barclays Center; Sunrise, Fla.’s Amerant Bank Arena; and Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum, starting Dec. 2 at Barclays. Further details have yet to be announced, including each team’s full roster.
Pegula and Paul are repped by GSE Worldwide. The terms of their contracts were not available.
