Ruby Rose has shared a cryptic message about late actress Hayden Panettiere, suggesting there are more details to come surrounding the Heroes star’s tragic death on Sunday.
The Aussie actress’ deeply personal post comes as a complete surprise given the pair never worked together on any TV or film projects, and they did not appear to run in the same Hollywood social circles.
Still, that didn’t stop Rose from entering the chat and making an odd claim about the circumstances surrounding Panettiere’s passing at the age of 36.
“I have so much I want to say about our dear Hayden,” the Pitch Perfect 3 star began in a note shared on Instagram Stories overnight. “If the roles were reversed, she would have sorted this already. Our brave, courageous H faced everything head on. She was fearless.”
“But it is LOUD and wrong and scary out there right now. So naturally I keep calling Hayden for advice on how to handle this.”

Panettiere was found unresponsive at an apartment in Greenville, South Carolina, on August 16. Despite prolonged attempts to revive the Nashville star, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 911 call made after she was found has been released on which a first responder could be heard saying they were treating an “unidentified female” in “cardiac arrest” following a suspected “overdose”.
Panettiere’s official cause and manner of death has yet to be confirmed with an investigation still pending.
Indeed in her post, Rose believed more information will soon come to light as she urged people not to judge the situation, especially since Panettiere left behind an 11-year-old daughter Kaya, who she shared with her former pro-boxer ex-fiance Wladimir Klitschko.
“I need more time to get this right for Kaya, I also need folks to have patience,” the xXx: Return of Xander Cage star pleaded with her followers. “Wait for all the information.”
“Don’t take it from her estranged mother. Or any of her abusers. She worked too hard and came too far for this bulls**t. I promise you.”
Panettiere’s mum Lesley Vogel released a statement yesterday which many have perceived to be cold for a woman who just lost her daughter.
“I think Hayden was an amazingly talented person in so many departments and I think young people who grow up in the entertainment industry – it is a struggle and it’s a very challenging industry and it’s not unusual for them to sadly find the wrong path,” Vogel, a former actress, said in a phone interview with NBC News.
This is not the first time Rose has spoken out about Panettiere death. In a surprise move, she paid tribute to the actress earlier this week after news of her death echoed around the globe.
“Hayden, I am begging you. No. My friend, no! WHO do we call? What is happening?” a distraught Rose wrote on Instagram in a caption overlayed on a photo of the dead star.
In either of her posts, the former MTV Australia presenter has not publicly revealed the nature of her relationship with Panettiere.
