BRITISH No.3 Leon Flint led Great Britain to third place finish in the European Under-24 Team Championship for the second season running.
The Sheffield and Glasgow racer scored ten of GB’s 19 points in Grudziadz, which was enough for bronze medals in a meeting dominated by hosts Poland and Denmark.
With GB’s other points coming from Will Cairns and Cooper Rushen (three each), Dan Thompson (two) and reserve Luke Harrison, they finished seven points clear of Sweden in the race for third place.
The top two nations fought out a classic battle with Poland edging out Denmark by a single point, 45 to 44, when Maksymilian Pawelczak defeated former Glasgow rider Villads Nagel in the final race.
