Fruit punch is supposed to be the people-pleaser flavor, which is probably why I’m harder on it. Cycling Frog’s Fruit Punch THC Seltzer has a 4.5-star rating on the brand’s site, so clearly plenty of people are into it. I get why. It’s sweet, tart, summery, and very much made for a backyard hang or pool party.
This one has 10mg THC + 10mg CBD per can, plus a whole fruit salad of juices: pineapple, orange, passionfruit, cranberry, elderberry, and lemon. That makes it taste like a more grown-up fruit punch, like a THC jungle juice, but also a more tart and candy-ish one. I was anticipating the apple or grape juice somewhere in the mix, because that’s where my brain goes when it hears “fruit punch,” but Cycling Frog’s version takes a sharper route.
The full can has 90 calories and 20g sugar, which explains some of the candy flavor. It is also another one of those THC drinks that calls one can two servings, which is technically useful for dosing and very annoying for nutrition facts. If you drink the whole can, you’re getting the whole can.
If I’m choosing between this and Cycling Frog’s Tropical Punch, I’m grabbing Tropical Punch. So I wouldn’t call this my favorite straight-from-the-can Cycling Frog drink, but I do think it makes sense as a pot-tail base. Add ice, add another juice, maybe enjoy the fact that you’re making an adult fruit punch that gets you high instead of drunk.
My Quick Sips
Cycling Frog’s Fruit Punch THC Seltzer is sweet, tart, and more candy-coded than I expected. But most fruit punches are like that. Each can has 10mg THC + 10mg CBD, but the buzz felt lighter to me than the dose suggests. I think that had a lot to do with how I drank it: I ended up mixing it with apple juice to soften the tart bitterness, which stretched the drink out.
Buy it if: you like sugary THC seltzers and want something summery for a pool party or backyard hang.
Skip it if: you want a cleaner, less sweet fruit drink.
Best part: it works well as a pot-tail base.
Biggest drawback: the full can has 20g sugar, and the two-serving label makes that easier to miss.
How I Tested Cycling Frog Fruit Punch THC Seltzer
I drank this on a Saturday afternoon, which felt like the right time for a sugary fruit punch weed drink. I started with it straight from the can, but I didn’t finish it that way. The flavor was more tart and bitter than I wanted, so I ended up grabbing one of my kid’s apple juice boxes and mixed it in. Very mom of me to do that, but it worked.
The apple juice softened the sharper fruit punch bitterness, but it also added more sugar to a drink that already has 20g sugar per can, so I wouldn’t call that my ideal fix. It did make me realize I’d rather use this as a pot-tail base than drink it plain.
Since I stretched the drink out with extra juice, I also kept that in mind when judging the effects. One can has 10mg THC + 10mg CBD, but I didn’t drink it like a normal can-and-done seltzer.
What It’s Like to Actually Drink
This is definitely fruit punch, just not the fruit punch my tastebuds expected. Cycling Frog uses pineapple, orange, passionfruit, cranberry, elderberry, and lemon juices, which gives it a sharper, tartier flavor than the red Minute Made punch I grew up with. I kept waiting for apple or grape to round it out, but this goes more sour-sweet than juicy-sweet.
The 20g sugar shows up too. It has that candy-ish flavor going on, which some people will love, especially if they like sweeter seltzers. For me, it got a little intense straight from the can.
That’s why I liked it better as a mixer. Over ice with another juice, it starts fitting in: adult fruit punch, but with THC instead of alcohol. I would absolutely use this for a pool party pot-tail, especially if I were making a pitcher for people who like their summer drinks sweet and sour.
Effects & Onset
The high showed up around 40 minutes for me, but I did kind of ruin the clean test by doctoring the drink. I started with the can plain, decided the tart-sugary thing was a lot, then mixed in apple juice and kept sipping. So even though the can has 10mg THC + 10mg CBD, I stretched it into a longer drink and probably softened the hit.
The buzz felt lighter than I expected. I still got relaxed and a little buzzy, but it didn’t land like a full 10mg THC drink in my body. It felt closer to the kind of buzz I’d get from something lower-dose. I also think flavor affects the experience more than people admit. When I love a THC drink, I finish it quickly and settle into it faster. With this one, I was busy trying to make the flavor work for me.
I get why other people like it, though. If sweet-and-sour fruit punch is your thing, this is a backyard hang/pool party can. For me, it worked better once I stopped treating it like a straight seltzer and started using it like a mixer.

Pricing & Availability
Cycling Frog sells the Fruit Punch THC Seltzer in a 6-pack for $27.99 or a 24-pack for $99.99. The 6-pack comes out to about $4.67 per can, which feels reasonable for 10mg THC + 10mg CBD, especially if you’re using these instead of a cocktail, beer, or hard seltzer. The 24-pack is the better deal if you already know you like the flavor. That brings it down to about $4.17 per can, but I would only commit to that many if fruit punch is really your thing.
Cycling Frog has a whole page on their website dedicated to listing out the states they can’t ship to and why. They’ve paused on the following states: Alabama, California, Colorado, Louisiana, and New Jersey.

Also Consider
Tropical punch is one of those flavors that can either taste like an adult beach drink or an old juice box. Cycling Frog’s Tropical Punch THC Seltzer is thankfully more mature, like an adult Capri Sun.
Out of the Cycling Frog drinks I’ve tried, this is probably my favorite. The flavor comes from a blend of passionfruit, mango, pineapple, and lime, so it tastes juicy and tropical. I’d drink this straight from the can, but it also feels like the obvious one to pour over ice and turn into a pot-tail.
The Bottom Line
Cycling Frog’s Fruit Punch THC Seltzer is not my favorite from the brand, but I understand why people like it. It’s sweet, tart, sugary, and very summertime jungle juice-coded. I preferred it once I stopped trying to drink it like a normal seltzer and started using it like a pot-tail base. Over ice, with another juice, this tastes great.
The buzz felt lighter than I expected from 10mg THC + 10mg CBD, probably because I stretched the drink out by mixing it. Still, it gave me a relaxed little Saturday afternoon lift.
At $27.99 for a 6-pack, I’d buy this for people who like sweet-and-sour fruit drinks, pool-party cans, and adult fruit punch that gets you high instead of drunk.
