THE Apex Steel Muscle Car Masters begins at Sydney Motorsport Park today, and there are plenty of ways you can watch the action.
More than 15 and a half hours of live coverage will be televised over Saturday and Sunday across the channels of Fox Sports, Kayo, SBS, YouTube and Facebook.
Today’s action will be live streamed on the Sydney Motorsport Park Facebook page from 1:30pm, with Fox Sports 503 and Kayo picking up the action from 2:30pm right through to 9:00pm this evening.
The entire day’s racing on Sunday will again be live streamed on the SMSP Facebook page as well as the MotorsportsTV YouTube channel.
Four hours of Sunday’s racing is watchable on traditional free-to-air TV, with SBS’ main channel televising four hours from 1:00pm-5:00pm while Fox Sports 507 (note, channel change from Saturday) and Kayo will air three hours from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
V8 Sleuth’s Aaron Noonan and Jack Perkins head the broadcast line-up, with familiar national motorsport commentators Brian Van De Wakker, Garry O’Brien and historic racing expert Darren Knight also calling the action.
A substantial line-up of heritage muscle is assembled for the two-day event, headlined by the biggest Touring Car Masters field of the year and Sports Sedans racing for the Des Wall Cup, along with Group C & A Heritage Touring Cars, Group N Historic Touring Cars, Group S Sports Cars, HQ Holdens, the 1960s and ’70s-oriented Australian Trans-Am category and the 5-Litre V8 Super Sprint.
