WILL Brown’s Queensland Raceway heroics propelled him into a special place in the ATCC/Supercars Championship record books.

Having gone 17 races in a row without a podium entering the Ipswich Super440, Brown got a hat-trick of trophies last weekend including an emotional victory.

That result marked the 49th podium of his career, which fittingly was celebrated by drinking champagne through the undersized 49mm engine airflow restrictor that had been the source of grief for him through the opening eight rounds of 2026.
