Des Hasler has confirmed Brian Kelly, Jojo Fifita and Klese Haas will return to strengthen his side for Saturday’s showdown against the Warriors at Cbus Super Stadium.
The trio missed last week’s trip to Sydney against the Sharks but come in to the Titans coach’s delight, expecting a tough battle against New Zealand after getting the two points across the ditch four weeks ago.
“We’ve got a few back coming back in, so that adds to the stability of the side,” Hasler said after Friday’s captain’s run.
“We want to finish the year strong, but it will be a hard game. They’re vying for a top four position, but we know we’re competitive and we need to be that tomorrow.”
Hoping to keep their strong record against the Wahs intact, having won six of their past seven games against their Trans Tasman rivals, Hasler has kept his team 1-17 with Tony Francis and Tukimihia Simpkins remaining in the extended squad – Jacob Alick-Wiencke, Sean Mullany and Tom Weaver making way from the reserves ahead of game day.
The club released their final allocation of tickets for the NRL / NRLW double header with a bumper crowd expected – all fans looking to buy tickets are encouraged to pre-purchase online via Ticketmaster to avoid disappointment.
Kick-off is at 5.30pm on Saturday – the second of two games at Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast.
