Follow us on Google Discover Kevin Durant has revealed that he and LeBron James have several unreleased rap songs together, adding another layer to their long-standing relationship away from the basketball court.
Durant made the revelation while speaking with Speedy Morman on the Boardroom Talks podcast, where he opened up about the music they created together.

Durant explained that he and James recorded around three songs together, with Rich Paul also playing a role in getting the former Los Angeles Lakers star involved in making music.
“We had like three songs. I think… Me and Rich Paul really were the ones that got it going and convinced Bron to rap,” Durant told Morman [52:03 onwards].
The revelation means the pair have more music together than the track they previously released in 2018.
Durant also recalled travelling to Akron, Ohio, to work out with James before their music sessions became a regular part of their time together.
“I went to Akron, like, 2011 to work out with him for, like, four or five days,” Durant said. “And then he had a studio. Because Rich Paul—me and Rich Paul really was the ones that got it going and convinced Bron to rap. “‘Cause Rich Paul was trying to recruit me when he first started Klutch. I like Rich, so we hung out a lot. And every city we was going to, we was going to a studio, me and Rich.”
According to Durant, James initially found the experience somewhat forced before eventually becoming comfortable in the studio.

“Any time somebody does something for the first few times, it’s forced. A little forced. Once you get that flow— he had to figure it out. He loved rap.”
The pair’s musical collaborations ultimately extended beyond their previously released track, with Durant now revealing that several other songs remain unreleased.
For now, those recordings remain unheard by the public, but Durant’s revelation has offered a glimpse into a lesser-known creative venture involving two of basketball’s biggest names.
