The 2026 RugbyWA community season came to a memorable close
on Saturday, with 16 teams crowned Premiers during a packed Grand Final Day at
Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex.

Teams from across Western Australia took to the field
throughout the day, with Grand Finals spanning junior boys’ and girls’
competitions, senior community grades and the Fortescue Premier Grade.

Cottesloe completed an impressive finals campaign by
defeating Wanneroo 39–21 to claim the 2026 Fortescue Men’s Premier Grade
Premiership. The result marked a triumphant return to the top for the Gulls,
who last lifted the Premier Grade trophy in 2021.

In the Fortescue Women’s Premier Grade Grand Final, Wanneroo
secured back-to-back Premierships with a 29–17 victory over Wests Scarborough.
The Divaz capped off another strong season by successfully defending the title
they claimed in 2025.

Across the remaining senior competitions, UWA secured the
Reserve Grade title with a 43–31 victory, while Nedlands prevailed 31–27 in a
closely fought Third Grade decider. Perth Irish claimed the Community Grade
Premiership with a narrow 22–19 win.

Mandurah were crowned Championship Grade Premiers following
a 24–13 victory, while Perth Bayswater completed the senior results with a
20–15 win in Fourth Grade.

Southern Lions secured the Belt Up Colts Premiership after
emerging 19–15 winners from another tight contest.

The junior Grand Finals also produced several exciting
finishes. Southern Lions edged their opponents 27–26 to claim the Under 15
Premiership, while Nedlands won the Under 18 title 22–17.

Kalamunda were crowned Under 13 Premiers following a 41–27
victory, Joondalup Brothers secured the Under 14 title with a 20–15 win and
Palmyra completed a strong performance to take out the Under 16 Premiership
39–19.

In the girls’ competitions, North Coast Sharks claimed the
Under 13 Girls title with a 41–15 victory. Wanneroo secured the Under 15 Girls
Premiership 33–24, while Wests Scarborough rounded out the junior results with
a 31–24 win in the Under 17 Girls Grand Final.
