Actress Jaime Pressly was reportedly booted from a California hotel last week for allegedly creating a disturbance.
News of the alleged incident only just made headlines today, with TMZ reporting that the My Name is Earl star was exhibiting erratic behaviour last Thursday at the Signia by Hilton San Jose by using profanity in the hotel lobby and allegedly putting her hands on another guest.
The 49-year-old was staying at the hotel ahead of her scheduled appearance at GalaxyCon this past weekend at the nearby convention centre, but ultimately the star skipped the fan event altogether.
According to TMZ, hotel guests made complaints while the Emmy winner was sitting in the lobby talking loudly on her phone for about 30 minutes, dropping F-bombs while appearing to be under the influence of alcohol.
Witnesses told the outlet that Pressly could be heard saying, “Mummy loves you” and “You are the best husband I have ever divorced and you are good to our kids” during her phone call to an unknown person.

Pressly was previously married to entertainment lawyer Simran Singh from 2009 to 2011 and the former couple share eight-year-old twin boys, Leo and Lenon. The actress also has a 19-year-old son, Dezi James, with her ex-partner, DJ and producer Eric Calvo.
As Pressly’s alleged unusual behaviour continued, two security guards approached her in the lobby only for the star to reportedly ignore them.
Witnesses even said she held a finger up in their direction to stop them in their tracks so she could continue talking on her phone.
After eventually hanging up, witnesses said Pressly approached a woman who was attending a wedding in the hotel, touching her arm while complaining about the security guards.
The Not Another Teen Movie actress then received another phone call but guards intervened this time, telling her “We’re done” as they ended the call.
The star then stepped outside for a cigarette only to return 10 minutes later holding hands with a valet employee as she headed straight to the bar.
Security guards escorted her away and asked her to leave, and this time Pressly left on her own.
A hotel spokesperson has addressed the alleged incident in a statement to TMZ which read: “Given our privacy obligations, we are unable to provide any information.”
This is not the first time Pressly has made headlines for worrying behaviour.
In 2011, shortly before she announced she was divorcing Singh after two years of marriage, the actress was stopped by police in California for a traffic violation and charged with driving while having a blood-alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit.
She later pleaded no contest and was sentenced to three years of informal probation.
Pressly also made headlines this May, but for other reasons: the actress became the latest Hollywood actress to join OnlyFans.
She announced the move in an interview with Variety published at the time, explaining that joining the platform would be “another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention”.
“I’ve loved meeting fans at various Comic Cons, and the excitement of having those real face-to-face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans,” she told the outlet.
The Sopranos actress Drea De Matteo and American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth are among the celebrity content creators on the platform, with the latter making $US1.2 million in her first week when joining in April.
