With the summer movie season winding down, it’s finally time for Fall TV to shine. And with that in mind, we’ve got whole lot of good stuff coming in September, from the return of an iconic horror anthology series to a couple of rebooted (or soft-rebooted) shows to spin-offs, animated offerings, and plenty of water cooler-worthy reality.

We asked you to cast your votes for the TV or streaming series you’re most looking forward to in September, and the winner blew all of the competition out of the water. Read on for the 5 Most Anticipated TV Shows of September, according to you!

1. Slow Horses: Season 6

Premiere Date: September 16, 2026 on Apple TV

Absolutely dominating the rest of the pack this month is the sixth season of Slow Horses, the Apple TV spy series based on the Slough House novels by Mick Herron. In the upcoming season, Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb and his team must go on the run when they are targeted by unknown killers, putting him at odds with MI5 head Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas). Slow Horses racked up 32% of the total votes, which may not seem like a monumental lead, but considering no other show managed more than 7%, it’s pretty decisive.

2. The Traitors: New Blood

Premiere Date: September 17, 2026 on NBC

This may be the highest any reality show has ranked in any of our monthly polls, but there’s no denying the love viewers have for The Traitors, and even without its celebrity contestants, the competition series looks to be a must-watch. That’s right: What sets New Blood apart from its predecessors is that all of the participants are just regular people, though it’s still hosted by the fabulous Alan Cumming. Will it be just as compelling to watch? Maybe more so, but we’ll have to wait and see.

3. American Horror Story: 13

Premiere Date: September 24, 2026 on FX and Hulu

The 13th season of American Horror Story created a lot of buzz when it announced that some of its most beloved actors (and the characters they played) would be returning, and that excitement seems to have carried over to this month’s polls. With Jessica Lange coming back after an eight-year absence from the series, along with people like Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, and more, as well as a storyline that appears to incorporate the show’s extended lore more than previous seasons, anticipation is sky-high.

4. The Gentlemen: Season 2

Premiere Date: September 3, 2026 on Netflix

Tangentially related to Guy Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, Netflix’s The Gentlemen proved the formula could work on the small screen. Season 2 picks up one year after the events of the first season, with Theo James’ Eddie and Kaya Scodelario’s Susie expanding their criminal operation into Italy. The change of setting and the expectation of new friends and enemies, as well as the addition of people like Hugh Bonneville, Michele Morrone, and Sergio Castellitto to the cast, make for a pretty enticing new season.

5. MobLand: Season 2

Premiere Date: September 18, 2026 on Paramount+

Speaking of Guy Ritchie, he also served as one of the directors of the star-studded Paramount+ series MobLand, which stars Tom Hardy as a mob fixer caught in the middle of a feud between two crime families in London. With folks like Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Paddy Considine, and Toby Jones on board, the gritty series found its audience, and those fans showed up to vote the show into the top five.
