DURHAM, N.C. – Entering his 31st season as the Duke women’s tennis head coach, Jamie Ashworth announced Tuesday the 2026 fall schedule for the Blue Devils. 
 
The slate features six dates across September, October and November. 
 
Duke will kick off action at the Kitty Harrison Invitational in Chapel Hill Sept. 11-13.  The Blue Devils will then stay local once again competing in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championship Sept. 19-27 at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary.
 
To kick off the month of October, Duke will travel to San Francisco, California to see action in the Battle in the Bay Oct. 1-4.  The Blue Devils next compete Oct. 15-20 at the ITA Regionals in Columbia, South Carolina.  
 
Duke will see action in the ITA Sectionals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Nov. 5-8 and then close the fall at the NCAA Individual Championship Nov. 17-22 in Athens, Georgia. 
 
The Blue Devils feature eight Duke players ranked in the ITA preseason singles and doubles rankings, which were released Aug. 25. 
 
In the singles rankings, junior Irina Balus was No. 7, sophomore Aspen Schuman was No. 31, junior Liv Hovde was No. 58, freshman Nina Vargova was No. 79 and freshman Mimi Xu was No. 81.  Vargova and Xu were also No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, in the newcomer rankings. 
 
Duke featured four doubles teams ranked in the preseason poll – Vargova and Xu (No. 1), Schuman and Hovde (No. 18), Balus and senior Shavit Kimchi (No. 51) and sophomore Claire An and senior Eleana Yu (No. 61).
