His latest stint with the Islanders organization was in 2021-22, where he split time between the AHL and the NHL. He appeared in one NHL game and 39 with Bridgeport and scored nine goals and added 13 assists for 22 points.
Dal Colle’s next destination was Europe, where he signed with Finland’s Liiga club TPS Turku for the 2022-23 season. He had four goals and 15 assists for 19 points in 36 games.
The next two seasons, he was with Germany’s top DEL club, the Iserlohn Roosters, where he scored 29 goals and contributed 54 assists for 83 points in 97 games. His play there resurrected his career and led to his present contract with the KHL.
Though Dal Colle failed to live up to the hype at the NHL level, his career totals a mere 21 points in 112 games, he has carved out a successful European career and will now face his newest challenge in Minsk.
