Nevertheless, Ravi is getting suspicious of Max being the man she had a fling with, with last night’s episode seeing him spotting his love rival with Priya.

In tonight’s (2 September) episode, which is available to stream on BBC iPlayer and is yet to air on BBC One, things take a dramatic turn in the storyline.

Ravi is first spotted watching over Max as he tries to gain evidence, overhearing a conversation with Oscar about his stag do.

Later on, Kim spots Oscar getting rowdy with an inflatable doll in the market, encouraging Denzel to help give Howie a proper send off too before the wedding. Sure enough, Denzel and Oscar agree to have a joint stag, revealing the plan to kidnap Max as a surprise prank.

Ravi pops round to Max’s, bringing a bottle as a gift under the pretense of thanks for helping Priya while she pulled her life together. However, he pretends to go and use the toilet amid his real agenda to find evidence.

Sure enough, he spots a painting seen in the background of a picture of Priya, realising the truth. Max also invites Ravi to his drinks later, to which he agrees.

Ravi subsequently confronts Priya, who confirms the mystery man was Max, admitting it was a “stupid fling” with someone who made her feel like she was “in control” of her life. However, an angry Ravi doesn’t believe that their affair is over, and is adamant he will “find out the truth” before storming out.

Later on, Max is taken by a masked man, and lightly pokes fun thinking it is Oscar’s prank. Later, Jack turns up at the bar, and Oscar realises he didn’t carry out the kidnap as planned.

Sure enough, Max’s hood is taken off in gym to reveal none other than Ravi, who holds a baseball bat and declares: “I intend to…”.

How will he get out of this one?
