Sydney Kings star Kendric Davis will reportedly miss the CODE Sports NBL Blitz.

According to CODE, an administration issue related to Davis’ passport has delayed his travel to Australia, leaving him stranded in the US.

The superstar guard won Championship MVP honours during the Kings’ title run last season and is key to the club’s hopes of going back-to-back.

“A club source confirmed to CODE Sports the prolific American will miss the entire six-day event,” CODE reported on Tuesday.

The Kings play the first of their two games at the Blitz in Bendigo on Wednesday night.

Player update: KD has been ruled out of tomorrow’s game against South East Melbourne due to a travel delay. Lachlan Bofinger will replace KD in the lineup as the nominated replacement player.
