It shouldn’t be a problem at this point. Ridding corruption from SLC and Clubs, and getting the voting system right is the priority. If they think only about money and allow the existing system to continue, we will end up at the bottom of every cricket table – something similar to what we’re experiencing as a country.

SL should abandon cricket and start playing hockey, baseball,basketball, volleball et.al. Strong reasons exist as cricket could not be monetised for supporting SL economy. Cricket grounds, stadiums can be converted into animal racing venue. Country doesnt have voice. Normal.
See, middle kingdom doesnt play cricket at all. When problems r cmplex, simple solns must be tried.

It was foolish to expect ICC to permit the initiative to rid corruption when the present ICC Chairman came to his position by a similar process. Hardly played any cricket rose to international cricket management through Gujarat Cricket Club and the Indian Cricket Board as his father was Modi’s home minister and gives India’s present government a pathway to access the massive funding that international cricket controls.
