Sydney Swans captain Callum Mills will play no further part in the finals series, after scans confirmed an ACL rupture.
Mills limped off during his side’s emphatic qualifying final win over the Brisbane Lions on Saturday afternoon and was spotted on crutches in the aftermath.

The club confirmed Mills would undergo surgery in the coming weeks, which will sideline him well into 2027.
The 29-year-old has been one of Sydney’s best this year and has fronted up in difficult circumstances over the past few weeks due to off-field turmoil at the club.
Mills will join teammates Isaac Heeney, Nick Blakey, Chad Warner, Riley Bice and James Jordon on the sidelines for the rest of the finals.
Those five players were stood down by the club due to an incident in Melbourne last month following the side’s win over Essendon.
Sydney left the AFL world stunned with the dominant 21.15(141) to 13.10(88) win against reigning premiers Brisbane over the weekend.
As a result of the upset, the Swans will enjoy a weekend off before hosting their preliminary final at the SCG.
Dean Cox’s side will face the winner of this weekend’s clash between Fremantle and Geelong in the grand final qualifier.
