Outrage has rocked soccer after a horrific collision sparked a mass brawl as a teenage star was rushed to hospital.
In one of the biggest games of the Dutch league season, PSV beat Ajax 3-1 at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Saturday.
But the story of the match was the injuries Ajax youngster Aaron Bouwman sustained with 10 minutes left.

As the ball bounced towards Bouwman, 19, PSV star Ruben van Bommel leapt in aggressively and wiped out his opponent.
Bouwman hit the ground with a tremendous amount of force as several furious Ajax players ran towards Van Bommel to confront him.
As fights ensued between the two teams, medical staff rushed to Bouwman’s aid — before he was sent to hospital after the game.
Van Bommel was only shown a yellow card for the incident.
Ajax later issued a statement confirming Bouwman has sustained injuries to his sternum and lung, and that he will be sideline for a month.
The four-time European champions said: “Aaron Bouwman will not be in action again during the month of September.
“Examinations showed that Bouwman suffered several injuries, including bruising to his sternum and a bruised lung.
“He remains in hospital on Sunday for observation. Get well soon, Aaron!”
Van Bommel, the son of Netherlands legend Mark van Bommel, was said to be devastated by his own actions.
PSV director of football Earnest Stewart said: “After the match, he (Van Bommel) went into Ajax’s dressing room to apologise. Emotions came into it as well.”
Commentator Hugo Borst described the challenge as an “assassination attempt,” before social media broke out in a frenzy.
Futboldur Hayat said: “Attempted murder in the Dutch league. PSV’s Van Bommel dived headfirst at Bouwman. Bouwman narrowly escaped death.”
Dan added: “Ridiculous that he didn’t get a red.”
Robin reacted: “Don’t let Van Bommel play anymore as long as Bouwman hasn’t recovered.”
Mats responded: “It’s been a long time since I saw such an idiotic foul. This could have ended so much worse for Bouwman.”
And Birazz Futbol said: “A mind-boggling moment in Dutch football!”
