CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Heartland News) – Last week, Cage of Honor announced their main bout for Cage of Honor 98, and with it, the return of one of the organization’s greatest fighters.
Garrett Gross will enter the octagon one final time as a fighter on Saturday, November 7 at the A.C. Brase Arena in Cape Girardeau, headlining Cage of Honor 98 as the main event.
In 2024, Gross fought his at-the-time final fight, defeating Gavilan Bland for the middleweight championship in Cage of Honor 92, the promotion’s first event at the Show Me Center.
Gross has continued his fighting since his retirement, but in another field. The mixed martial artist has spearheaded Operation 17:2 since leaving MMA; he continues to do work in the community.
At the time of writing, Gross’ opponent has not been publicly announced by the promotion. The rest of the main card and preliminary fights will also be announced on Cage of Honor’s Facebook page.
