MMA fans have come up with a lot of interesting ideas about Michael ‘Venom’ Page’s journey post-UFC.
When Michael ‘Venom’ Page came into the UFC, the hype around him was insane. Securing a knockout victory, MVP soon established himself as a strong contender. Additionally, his mannerisms within the fight gained fans’ attention.
Unfortunately, as things went downhill, MVP was removed from the UFC roster. Speculating about his future, fans had a lot to say.
One fan said, “The guy is 39 years old and is not being resigned by the UFC. I think its time to hang them up. He has had a good career.”
Another said, “How does Karate combat not make a move for MVP is beyond me.”
A third fan argued, “I don’t care how “boring” they say his fights are. The fact that @danawhite would release him as opposed to Michael Chandler says a lot about where the UFC is headed. MP 6-1 MC 3-6.”
This user suggested, “I think hes said he liked making movies. Id like to think he just changes careers.”
A fan predicted, “I’m actually kinda excited for him to go to MVP MMA. Give him some trash cans he can knock out.”
Another chimed in, “MVP is heading to MVP.”
Michael Page is Officially Out of UFC
Following his appearance at UFC Paris, MVP dropped a cryptic post on his social media. He wrote, “Thank you Paris for having me. I’m grateful for the support you gave me. Stepping in the cage is a privilege I do not take for granted and I look forward to bigger challenges.”
Such a message was enough to spark the debates about the future of Page. Confirming the concerns, it was revealed that the UFC has officially removed MVP from its rankings pool. Soon after, despite Page wanting to change his style of fighting, it was announced that he was no longer a part of Dana White’s promotion.
