The new KIIS breakfast team can be revealed, six months after the spectacular implosion of Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson.

It’s understood there’ll be local and fresh voices for the future, with Ash London, Elliot Garnaut and Isaac Smith to lead the station’s revival in the competitive slot.

It’s believed Carrie Bickmore could also be part of the show.

Bickmore has worked in national drive on FOX FM alongside comedian Tommy Little for the past five years, while London is a well-known name across TV and radio having spent five years hosting the nationally syndicated Ash London LIVE across the Southern Cross Austero network and 2DayFM breakfast.

Garnaut is a stylist to the stars, including Bickmore and Bec Harding, and regularly appears on Channel 7’s Sunrise and The Morning Show.

He and footy great Smith co-host a successful podcast called No Utes in the Valet.

Smith has been doing special comments on Triple M since the Geelong and Hawthorn premiership hero retired at the end of 2023.

It’s a strong move for KIIS knowing that it needs a footy figure to attract listeners, in contrast to Sandilands who refused to talk about AFL.

Since Kyle and Jackie O started syndicating in Melbourne in 2024 the show struggled in the ratings and rate around the lowly five per cent.

Nova’s trio of Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway recorded 10.8 per cent in last week’s survey, ahead of GOLD FM’s Christian O’Connell and FOX FM’s Fifi Box, Brendan Fevola and Nick Cody.

For Bickmore, former host of The Project, it’s a big change but rumours have been circulating about a switch up for her career.

Whether Little continues or a new show replaces it in drive remains to be seen.
