Former Australian PM Kevin Rudd has flagged that Silicon Valley is enthusiastic about a potential technology for prosperity deal on AI between the US and Australia.
Rudd, who now serves as the global president and CEO of the Asia Society Policy Institute, told an audience in Canberra on Wednesday that he expected a deal between the two nations “to lean into AI” to be announced soon.
“This is important for the future size and shape and composition of the Australian emerging AI industries,” Rudd said.
