FORT COLLINS, Colo. – After a championship-winning season, Colorado State’s women’s basketball team is gearing up to enter their Pac-12 era – but not before polishing its skills in non-conference play.
The Rams welcome Lindenwood to Moby Arena for the season opener on Nov. 2. The matchup will also serve as part of a doubleheader with the men’s program, allowing for maximum levels of Moby Madness.
“We are looking forward to getting back on the court in front of our great fans and have Moby rocking,” head coach Ryun Williams said. “This schedule gives us a great opportunity to prepare for our new challenge of the Pac-12 championship.”
Two road games follow the opener, the first coming up against Utah on Nov. 6, followed by a matchup with Denver on Nov. 10.
Familiar opponents appear on the schedule, with the Rams running it back in the Border War against Wyoming (Nov. 13) before competing against Weber State (Nov. 22), a team they beat in non-conference play last season.
CSU is scheduled to compete in two tournaments during non-conference play, beginning with the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam on Nov. 26-27 before heading to San Diego on Dec. 12-13. Between the pair of tournaments, the Rams will return home to match up with Southern (Dec. 5) and South Carolina State (Dec. 9).
Harvard presents a promising challenge on Nov. 20 after reaching the NCAA Tournament during the 2024-25 season and recording its third 20-win season in four years, competing in the WBIT. The Rams will take on Northern Colorado on Dec. 19, following the Bears’ 23-11 season qualifying for the WNIT.
