Well, it’s fair to say the Jonas Brothers offered a little something for everyone with that half-time set: for fans, it was a medley of the faves; for the non-fans, it was over so quickly that you barely had time to register your objection to the infuriating perkiness of their pop.
By my reckoning, the MCG set began at 12.01pm, and was done by 12.08pm. What a contrast to the game itself, in which a half of football that ostensibly runs 30 minutes actually plays out, with stoppages, to 90.

The set ran somewhere between six and seven minutes, and in that brief space they managed to jam four original songs and the “surprise” Australian cover they had teased yesterday.
And no, it wasn’t a Delta Goodrem song, so I guess Nick has moved on after all. It was John Farnham’s You’re the Voice. A safe choice, but a good one, too.
