ELON – The Elon men’s tennis team began its fall season Friday on day one of the Elon Invitational at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. In singles, senior Jack Curtis defeated ETSU’s Kai Cowcher, 6-0, 6-2. Sophomore Nick Fisk had a comeback win against ETSU’s Juan Andres Listo, 2-6, 7-6 (3), 6-2. To close out the first round of singles, Nikola Parichkov defeated Charlotte’s Ben Patrick Ostheimer, 7-6 (4), 6-7 (3), 6-0.
Play will continue Saturday with two rounds of singles beginning at 9 a.m.
