A neighbour has told of the shouts and screams heard moments after a toddler was fatally injured by a car in a suburban driveway tragedy on Tuesday.
The three-year-old was treated by paramedics at the scene on Normanby Rd at Auburn in Western Sydney and rushed to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Sadly she could not be saved and authorities delivered the tragic news she had died.
Police were told the girl was run over as the car was entering the driveway about 2.05pm.
One neighbour told 7NEWS “there’s no words, only shouts” and the screams were “big”.

A 27-year-old man police say was driving the car involved was taken to Auburn Hospital for mandatory testing.
He was not injured.
Police have taped off the area as they investigate and neighbours returning home from work are learning of the tragic news.
No charges have been laid and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
